Pourquoi les chiens font un headtilt? En faisant des recherches sur internet on peut trouver plusieurs explications possibles… 1- c’est un moyen de communiquer, il nous dit: «je t’entends, continue». Ou 2- c’est un moyen de placer son oreille pour mieux entendre ce qui a piqué sa curiosité. Ou encore 3- c’est pour regarder sous un angle différent pour mieux comprendre. Bref je ne sais pas l’explication scientifique mais oh que c’est adorable!

Comment on fait pour avoir un headtilt? La plupart du temps le chien vas bouger sa tête ainsi quand il y a un son qui pique sa curiosité. Pour certains chiens ça va être quand il entend un certain mot tel que biscuit, balle, marche, papa, Kiki…

What do headtilts mean? By doing research on the internet we can find several possible explanations: 1- it is a means of communication, they are telling us: “I hear you, go on”. Or 2- it's a way to change the position of their ears to hear better. Or 3- it's to look from a different angle, getting their muzzle out of the way, to see better.
In short I do not know the scientific explanation but oh it’s so f…ng adorable!

How do you get a dog to make a headtilt? Most of the time they will do this when a sound piques their curiosity. For some dogs it will be when they hear a certain word (like treat, ball, walkies, daddy, Kiki ...)
